Extension Info

Here’s how it all works:

Your initial appointment begins with a consultation to discuss your desired length, color, and the amount of hair needed. During this time, we’ll go over all the details in-depth to ensure we’re on the same page.

Once we’ve finalized everything, you’ll pay a deposit, which covers the cost of the hair itself, to secure your appointment.

The hair can last anywhere from 6 months to a year, depending on your care and lifestyle. Please note that the initial cost of the hair is separate from maintenance appointments.

For all hair installations, the cost is $150 per row, and the same rate applies for any maintenance appointments.

The Investment

Extension Care

Washing

Wash your extensions with care. Shampoo only at the scalp, as the rinse will clean the rest of your hair. Condition from mid-length to the ends, including your natural hair. I recommend using low-sulfate or sulfate-free products for the best results. To keep your extensions in great shape, try washing your hair no more than three times a week.

Sun Care

Please avoid getting self-tanner or most sunscreens on your extensions, as it can alter the color. Swimming pools and saltwater can also affect the hair and color, so always apply a leave-in conditioner before swimming. When swimming or exposed to wind, secure your hair in a braid or ponytail to minimize tangling and damage.

Brushing

Brush your extensions at least twice a day. I recommend sectioning your hair, starting underneath, and working your way up to the crown, brushing each row individually. Be sure to keep a firm grip on the base of your extensions while brushing. Afterward, apply a hair serum or oil to keep your extensions smooth and shiny.

Sun Care Products

To protect your extensions from discoloration, choose mineral-based sunscreens with zinc oxide or titanium dioxide, as these are less likely to affect color. Look for oil-free or non-oily formulas, and consider using hair-specific SPF sprays that are designed to protect your hair from UV damage. Always avoid products with alcohol or artificial colors, as these can alter your hair's appearance.

Here’s a list of sunscreens that are safe for hair extensions:

Styling

Always use a heat protectant when styling your extensions. When blow-drying, avoid pulling or tugging too hard on the extensions. Aim to get them mostly dry before finishing with a smoothing brush.

NEVER go to sleep with wet hair, as this can lead to tangling and, in rare cases, fungus or mold.
